The chosen solution was a Hörmann LPU42 Duragrain sectional garage door. This design uses a high quality digital print on the steel face to recreate the appearance of rough timber. While it has the look of natural wood, the surface is actually smooth to the touch, offering the visual style of timber with the durability and low maintenance of steel.
The door was supplied with a Hörmann ProMatic motor and two remote handsets, providing smooth automated operation and everyday convenience. The finished result satisfied the planning requirements while giving the homeowner a practical and reliable garage door that suits the character of the area.
